Hazardous Materials
Hazardous materials incidents are increasingly complex and
challenging, whether environmental, chemical, biological, radiation
or nuclear. We have recognised this change in risk and the
impact this has on the response required from FRS and
developed new modules which offer progressive development from
Hazmats first Responder level to the Hazmats and Environmental
Protection Officer Course (HMEP).
Our hazmat courses utilise the full range of college facilities
including the chemistry laboratories and incident ground facilities
where delegates are able to participate in realistic operational
incident scenarios.
